Marks: In the upper center of the verso frame, incised into the wood is "F-MADE IN BELGIUM-F".In the upper right corner of the verso frame incised into the wood, "F-MADE IN BELGIUM-F".In the right center of the frame on green tape, (possibly some kind of stamp) is the number "55" below that is typed "Lot No.".In the lower right corner upside down, in red paint is the RISD accession number "36.209".In the lower right corner, upside down and incised into the wood is"F-MADE IN BELGIUM-F".In the lower left quadrant is what appears to be a stamp, printed in ink are the words "MADE IN BELGIUM / HAND CARVED".In the upper right quadrant incised into the wood of the frame is "F-MADE IN BELGIUM-F".In the inner frame, in the lower left quadrant in faded in are the words "Made in Sweden". On the cardboard backing in the upper right quadrant in red marker is the RISD accession number "36.209".In the lower left quadrant upside down in pencil is the accession number "36.209".In the center of the backing board is a piece of masking tape with nothing written on it. In the upper left corner of the second backing board, with two diagonal crossbars, in red is the RISD accession number "36.209".On the sill of the upper frame of the second backing board in red paint is the RISD accession number "36.209" and to the right of that is the accession number written again. On the sill, in the upper center of the second backing board is a new RISD Museum label, split in half and position one piece next to the other.In the lower quadrant of the backing board, in red marker is the RISD accession number "36.209".
