About
Join us each month for a new artist-designed project that lets visitors of all ages play with materials and processes.
This session: Try your hand at creating block printed paper fans! Using cardboard and foam, create your own stamps that can be used and reused to print different images and patterns.
This session is inspired by the exhibition The Artistry of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, now on view on the 6th floor. Kuniyoshi was one of the most influential Japanese printmakers of the 1800s, famous for his dynamic and expressive woodblock prints.
